Healthcare Integration Associates, LLC is a Management Services Organization (MSO) that provides practice management and administrative support services to individual physicians or small group practices that relieve physicians of non-medical business functions so that they can focus on the practice of medicine. The MSO by nature is a very flexible integration model aimed preserving physician autonomy which forms the matrix for coordination and collaboration to achieve innovation. Our goal is to assist, guide and sustain the delivery of quality, cost effective care.
Our services include but are not limited to overall management and consultative practice reviews, billing, collection, equipment and technology, personnel pooling, risk management and recruiting. All successful MSOs have strong physician involvement and our governance structure includes a physician advisory board to prioritize efforts and to select services which will have universal appeal, are apolitical, and offer immediate and long-term benefits.
We will also assist in preparing practices for coordinated managed care contracting, equity transition (sale or retirement), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) coordination and maximizing incentives for quality programs. Essential to our growth and development are stable groups of like-minded practitioners that seek involvement in an integrated process which will allow them to participate in the healthcare delivery system to develop and deliver initiatives and services through the traditional “co-op” model.

Damien Navarro serves as our President and has over 25 years of experience in Healthcare Administration. He is a Certified Member of the AmericanCollege of Medical Practice Executives. He currently maintains contractual relationships with various physician organizations and healthcare providers. His background in accounting and finance primarily focus upon the healthcare industry in both for profit and not for profit entities.
Prior to joining Healthcare Integration Associates, Navarro worked as a consultant with Physician Hospital Organizations and created an Independent Hospitalist Physician Group to contract with area hospitals. Throughout his career Navarro has focused upon business expansion, company mergers and recreating organizations to adapt to the ever changing healthcare environment. He is a strong advocate for multi-disciplinary teams and has a passion for Physician/Administration team approach in high performing organizations.
Navarro earned his Bachelors in Accounting in 1986 and currently serves on the St Francis Healthcare System Foundation Board. He also chaired the St. Francis Health Ambassador program, creating education programs to address elderly care issues within the community.

Tracy K Fujita, MBA is our Vice President and has over 25 years of experience in Healthcare leading key operations, departments and functional areas. Specifically, his extensive experience across the Health Care Delivery System includes: Medical Group Management, Quality & Accreditation, Clinical Operations, Care Management and Call Center Operations. As a leader he is passionate about creating high-performing cultures where people are compelled to excel by work collaboratively to achieve mutual goals.
Mr. Fujita received his Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Hawaii, John A Burns School of Medicine in Manoa and a Master in Business Administration from HawaiiPacificUniversity with a certificate in Organizational Change and Quality Improvement.
He devoted the front end of his career to working with providers on clinical operations and physician practice management. He then went on to work for the largest Disease Management and Wellness Company in the nation. Starting as the Executive Director overseeing Call Center Operations, he eventually would have responsibility for all Hawaii Operations.
Tracy has a simple goal. To make a difference in Hawaii’s healthcare by purposefully using his skills, knowledge and experiences to foster positive relationships and facilitate true collaboration between the stakeholders in Hawaii’s healthcare market.

Richard is the Secretary of Healthcare Integration Associates, LLC, a management services organization (MSO) that provides practice management and administrative support services to individual physicians and small group practices. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily in physician billing/collection and hospitalist group administration.
Richard’s background includes investment portfolio management as a financial consultant (Series 7, 63 and 3 licenses), trading stocks, bonds and commodities in managing both personal and business investment portfolios.
His entrance into the healthcare industry was as the Marketing Director and founding member of a physician service organization that provided business and clinical solutions to independent physicians including practice management, billing and collections, electronic health records, clinical quality solutions and practice transformation.
He currently splits his time between two businesses. The first is the ownership of Healthy Vending Hawaii, a local company with high tech vending machines that offer healthy snacks and drinks. He has machines placed at many hospitals, companies and schools that are focused on providing a healthier snacking alternative to their employees, students and visitors.
As a consultant to Medical Specialists of Hawaii (a physician hospitalist group of 18 local physicians) he assists with administrative and contracting duties.
